New Efforts to Find Ancient Artifacts of Guanacaste
Playas de las Palmas Participates in Archaeological Research Tours
As new life comes to Costa Rica’s Northern Pacific coast, we are uncovering valuable examples of this land’s ancient history—and striving to protect archaeologically important sites.
Costa Rica is well known for its environmental protection and land conservation, but there is also a strong commitment to keep areas vital to archaeological research safe and secure as well. Costa Rica is protecting land not only for its biodiversity, but for its invaluable history with the mission is to learn about pre-Columbian life in the region and preserve that knowledge for future generations.
Playas de las Palmas’ Riziero Baldini and Alessandro del Bello participated in exciting research tours on the coast of Santa Rosa National Park earlier this year. The tours unearthed artifacts that helped make historic evaluations of the areas and involved studies both in sea and on ground.
In the spirit of responsible growth, Playas de las Palmas is honored to help build Costa Rica’s future while respecting and protecting its past.
